The Karnataka Gruha Jyoti Yojana is a government scheme that provides free electricity up to 200 units for every residential household in the state. The scheme was launched on June 15, 2023, and the beneficiaries will start getting the benefit from August 1, 2023.


To apply for the scheme, you need to visit the Seva Sindhu portal of Karnataka. You can access the portal from your mobile phone or computer.

Open The above link and you will get the homepage and click the gruha jyothi option.

after clicking the gruha jyothi option it will open the next page.


Fill out The above Application completely like, including escom name, account id, type of occupancy, aadhaar number, and mobile number accordingly.

After filling out the above application you will get OTP to fill out the OTP and submit the application.

After clicking the submit button you will get a preview of the application. See the Application completely and reverify the application and submit it.

After submitting an application you will see another window it is an acknowledgment of the application you can download it by clicking the export to pdf button and print the acknowledgment.
